Global Operations Intelligent Supply Communications Director

In this role, you will lead the communications strategy that connects Intelligent Supply to our long-term ambitions, aligning with Operations 2030. You will craft high-end visuals and media that make the vision tangible, mobilize stakeholders across sites and regions, and create content that brings progress to life.
You will activate engagement across digital platforms and key events, amplify the best work from across the network, and use data to keep improving. Accountabilities:
Lead the development of the Global Operations Intelligent Supply Communications Plan in collaboration with Operations 2030 strategy communications plans, ensuring a clear, joined-up narrative and measurable outcomes.
Produce high end visuals, slides and messaging that articulate the vision and value of the Intelligent Supply programme, equipping leaders to communicate with impact.
Build engaging content on AZ’s digital platforms to showcase progress through videos, interviews and celebrating successes; monitor engagement and drive improvements.
Seek feedback from customers at all levels, track engagement, and evolve approaches to enhance relevance, reach and impact.
Organise prioritised global communications events that engage, educate and inspire, creating shared understanding and action across the enterprise.
Develop operating principles so that communications are joined up and focused at Site, Region/Function and Global level, fully aligned to Operations 2030.
Improve the scope and influence of key communications by activating the Global Operations communications network, Operations 2030 Strategy Champions and driving the Digital Leaders Network.
Through leading storytelling, highlight the finest of the finest and build organisational capability in modern communications.
You will lead all aspects of the development and delivery of integrated communications assets to support the connected programme, including more detailed content creation for e.g. Autonomous Manufacturing, Astrid.
Advise, coach and counsel internal partners, including senior management, across copy writing and speech writing for high-profile internal communications platforms; handle highly confidential information with integrity.
Plan the most effective approach for external communications in line with Operations Corporate Affairs; measure effectiveness and pursue continuous improvement.
Look outside to bring innovative approaches that reinvigorate outputs, leverage leading edge techniques and technology, improve effectiveness and instil confidence in others in high-pressured situations.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Track record of developing and delivering innovative and highly engaging communications and content to achieve tangible outcomes.
Extensive experience of employee and leader communications and engagement plans and campaigns, digital and change communication and event management.
Significant experience of leading different partner relationships and confident at forging trusted relationships at a senior level.
Gravitas and ability to develop strong mutually beneficial relationships and establish a high level of credibility at senior levels in the organisation.
Proactive with high levels of self motivation and personal accountability, bringing enthusiasm and energy to team, peer group and tasks
First-rate coordination, collaboration, organization and multi-tasking skills
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Exposure of working in a fast-paced global communications team or similar corporate communications environment.
Experience and knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
